Nandor x Senga
Senga is the sweetest goofball in a tiny package. She’s my daughter constant companion and always up for a game of ball. This will be her retirement litter.
“Nandor/Nigel” is a black AKC Champion Standard Poodle with a great personality. Nandor lives with his permanent guardian home in Sacramento, CA and is currently in training as her service dog. He enjoys coursing events, showing, weight pull and has shown interest in swimming. He is jovial, sweet, loves children and making new friends.
Both Senga and Nandor are eager to please and love to learn. Senga has medium prey drive/chase drive and medium energy. Nandor is a busy boy who loves to work. He has high chase drive/small animal prey drive and medium energy. He is very handler focused and like Senga he is food/toy driven. When he is working on his SD skills he is locked in and loves to please his mom. Did I mention he LOVES kids? Sam his guardian works with pre school aged kiddos and he absolutely loves them. This spring he will be starting dock diving.
I am expecting show, companion, service work, therapy work, and sports prospects. They will have their natural tails and dewclaws. Expecting puppies in black, cream and possible phantom.

This will be Marsali’s first litter and we are excited about pairing her with Hadrian. We are expecting very handler oriented pups from this pairing, with medium/high prey drive and medium energy with a good “off” switch. Expecting show, companion, service, therapy, and sports prospects. They will have their natural tails and dewclaws. Puppies in black, cream, apricot and phantom.
Marsali loves to please and pick up things around the house to give to me. She is super sweet and loves to snuggle. She enjoys monitoring the back yard for squirrels and rodents that live along the fence line. Marsali loves meeting new friends slowly and once she realizes they are trusted friends she is hard to remove from their laps. She loves holding a toy in her mouth and is always the happiest girl.
Hadrian loves children, toys, food and is curious about the world around him. He is patient for grooming, a hoarder of toys and is just beginning his adventures in agility. He even has his own instagram account @hadrianpoodle.

We occasionally may have older pups or adult Poodles looking for retirement or pet homes. Due to being a small breeder who raises our puppies with intent and purpose we try to keep our household of dogs low. This is due to the amount of attention, training and enrichment our Poodles need and we want to be able to love them all and give them the best life. Sometimes this means finding homes for them so they can be the center of attention, and have an amazing life with a smaller family. It's never an easy decision but it's also a selfless choice to give our dogs the best life possible. We just cant keep them all when we know there are families who would love them and enjoy them as much as we do.
Our dogs are our world! We do almost everything together, we compete in dog sports and events, travel together, camp, paddle board, run on the beach and take hikes. Our dogs sleep on our beds and sit on our couches with us. They go to bus stops, the grooming shop, the veterinarians and stores that allow them in. Our dogs have been around children and other animals. They are part of our family.

Silvie
Cascadia Goddess of Nature TKN, TL-1
Silvie is a sweet and loving girl. She was from our 2020 litter. She was born during Covid and after a few bad social experiences, she struggles with social anxiety. We decided to not continue on with her in our program, due to her social anxiety. Silvie would do best in a quiet home with no other dogs (or a dog who would ignore her) no other small animals or children. While Silvie has been raised with my children, they are older and very dog wise. I would love to find a home, local to Bend so I can help support a smooth transition. She is spayed and UTD on her vaccinations, recently had her teeth cleaned, and is currently taking anti-anxiety medication that has helped her be able to navigate fun family activities. Silvie would love to find her perfect home, that would include long leashed walks in nature, swimming at the lake or creek, running on a quiet beach or just hanging out in the yard while you garden. She would also be successful in a few dog sports if you're the ambitious sort. NASDA, scent work, Rally to name a few.

Guardian Homes
Cascadia Standard Poodles is accepting applications for guardian and co-ownership homes. If you have ever considered or want to learn more about being a guardian or co-owner, please do message me to see a sample contract and discuss both the benefits and the drawbacks to know if it's right for your family.
Guardian families are a huge part of many programs, as they allow breeders to have a program while giving their breeding dogs a full life with their forever families. Many top kennels have done this type of agreement for years without giving it a name but the term “Guardian” has been used recently in the last few years. Breeding dogs live as companions, therapy dogs, competition and performance dogs in loving homes with carefully selected guardians as their forever families. These families provide love and care to their furry family member, enjoy a beautiful Standard Poodle’s love in return, and play an important role in the preservation of the breed.
In our Guardian Program, our potential future dame and sire puppies live and do life with their guardian (forever) families. After passing their pre-breeding health testing, genetic testing, conformation titles and performance titles, they enter their breeding career. Females come back to us about a week before their puppy due date and stay approximately 8 weeks, until their puppies are weaned. Males need to be available for occasional dates! We cover all expenses related to health testing and breeding and also cover the spay/neuter at the end of the breeding careers.
In our experience this is a wonderful opportunity for our local families to have a "pick of the litter" puppy for a family pet without the expense. We have found this to be a positive relationship for all; our guardian families enjoy the excitement of being a part of our breeding program, seeing the puppies of their very own guardian dog bring happiness to other families, and enjoy their own beautiful Standard Poodle. We place our guardian puppies with their family for a refundable fee of $1500, much less than the cost of a pet/companion puppy; however there are some requirements and responsibilities.
If you are interested in enjoying the puppy process and acquiring a beautiful breeding quality Standard Poodle for your family please see if you meet the following requirements and submit a “Puppy Questionnaire” Always feel free to contact us with questions!
-
Live approximately within a 3 hour drive of Cascadia Standard Poodles (Bend Or.).
-
Provide a loving and safe environment that includes a fenced play area.
-
We prefer that the puppy is not home alone for extended periods of time during the day. Ideally either work from home, have the ability to take the dog to work with you, or otherwise have someone at home with the puppy (puppy needs to do life with people!).
-
Agree to feed a high quality dog food approved by Cascadia Standard Poodles.
-
Provide proper puppy socialization, basic obedience training, within a group class or individual trainer. Cascadia Standard Poodles provides an incentive. For every Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog Title the Guardian earns with the puppy/dog, Breeder will give $25 as a thank you once the title has been recorded with AKC. For Performance titles (agility, obedience, scent work, Barn Hunt, NASDA, Dock Diving, etc), Breeder will give the guardian Novice level $50, Intermediate$100 and Advanced $200.
-
Be responsible for the puppy's basic health care and follow our guidelines for the vaccine schedule, type of vaccines, and the use or avoidance of certain medications, etc
-
Carry basic Pet Medical Insurance, i.e: Healthy Paws, Trupanion, All State.
-
Maintain and afford proper Standard Poodle grooming while in our breeding program, I will offer grooming services for all show trims and maintain while competing in Conformation.
-
Provide exercise and lots of love and attention!
Co-Ownership
A Co-Ownership is a shared investment in a potential breeding dog. Typically this is someone who is looking to get more involved into the breed and wants to work towards a program of their own in the future but needs the guidance and a quality prospects to get started. This can also be someone who already has a successful breeding program and wants to add a new dog to their current program.
Cascadia Standard Poodles will reserve the pick male and female from each litter and hold for a Guardian or Co-Owner. If you're interested in learning more and seeing our Co-Ownership contract please contact us.
