Cascadia Standard Poodle Puppies
Our puppies are $2,500.00-$3,500.00 on limited (non breeding) contracts. Litter price may vary depending on pedigree, the amount invested in the sire and dam obtaining titles, health/genetic testing, expenses involved around getting the litter on the ground, such as AI expenses, stud fees and travel for breeding as well as any emergency expenses.
Each litter will be priced accordingly as mentioned above, however all puppies in
the same litter will be the the same price regardless of their color or gender. Our poodles are all valued equally. We do not charge for "rarities"; our price is based off the quality of care, attention, proper puppy rearing protocols and off the accomplishments and health testing of the parents.
Occasionally we will co-own a show/breeding prospect with someone who is approved but our dogs are never sold with full breeding rights.

What to expect
Advanced Placement Program
For those looking for extended time for their puppies to stay with us and continue on with their training we are now offering an Advanced Placement program.
Over the years I have had the opportunity to keep one or two puppies aside and work with them till around 12 weeks, sometimes longer. What I have found is that the puppies receiving this extra training are more confident. My program makes the transitions to their forever homes so much easier and builds a solid foundation for them to have a healthy development.

How it works

-
The puppy will continue to live with us, we will continue with the Puppy Culture program as well as further the basic commands for obedience (sit, down, touch, leave it, ect.), stationing (place) behavior, walking on a leash and crate training. The puppy will no longer sleep with their littermate, but alone near my bed at night and learn to sleep independently.
-
More exposure to crate games.
-
Continued weekly grooming.
-
Work with our fabulous trainer and friend Rachelle.
-
Field trips
-
Socialization with other safe dogs and animals.
-
Veterinarian check ups and vaccinations/deworming.
-
By 12 weeks can complete AKC trick dog novice expectations.
-
Can also customize to specific needs

Cost
If you're interested in enrolling your puppy in our AP Program the starting rate of $825 per week. Each puppies plan can be designed specifically for you and your puppies needs.
The AP program is additional to the purchase price, and we are limited to a maximum or 2 puppies per litter.
Testimonials
Pogo
Over the last 40 years we’ve welcomed one Bedlington Terrier and six Standard Poodle puppies to our family. Pogo, Cascadia Picks Up Sticks TPAT SPAT, is the first puppy who came home as a slightly older puppy, as opposed to 8-9 weeks. As much as I love working with baby puppies, the training and socialization that Jen provided Pogo in the weeks between when most of his littermates left and when we picked him up made his transition to our home so much easier. When we picked up Pogo he was already solidly crate trained, comfortable riding in a car and walking on a leash, and confident in different environments outside the home. The result was a puppy who managed the 8 hour drive home like a champ. He didn’t cry in his crate and he had no problem doing his business in strange parking lots (carefully selected to have minimal dog traffic). Once home housebreaking was simply a matter of generalizing the behavior to a new house. Pogo slept quietly in his crate next to our bed from the first night. He already knew to sit on cue and politely offered a sit when he wanted something. That puppy Pogo was confident and polite while meeting new people and dogs reflects both the socialization that Jen provided and the lovely temperament he inherited from Hazel and Buck. Jen’s training provided a great foundation for Pogo’s first year as he developed into a loving companion and started his journey in scent sports and rally obedience. ~ Hilary
Luci
I did not intend to pick Luci up at 17 weeks, but her previous placement fell through and she was too perfect to pass up. This meant she spent several weeks longer with Jen than normal, and during that time she received lots of training.
I got Luci as an owner-trained service dog prospect. Having had some experience in training service dogs in the past, I prepared myself for significant amounts of work as the first few months are by far the most difficult. I was pleasantly surprised though, as Luci was by far the easiest puppy I've raised so far, and has excelled in her service work.
Right out of the gate, Luci was primed for training:
- Her potty training took less than a week, with a total of 3 accidents in the house.
- She was kennel training early on, and that translated to much easier kennel training at home.
- She knew "Sit" and "Down" already, and knew that she had to work for treats.
- Additional training could take place immediately as she already understood the training process
I couldn't have asked for a better start to Luci's career, and I firmly believe the extra time spent with Jen set Luci up for success.
